Where Are They Today?
Where Are They Today?
Three unexpected reconnections. All in one day.
A private client from many years ago reached out to refer her best friend, who’s now beginning her own healing journey.
A previous student from an addiction awareness program I ran for educators reached out. She wanted support for someone she began working with.
And one of my very first clients—possibly the very first—messaged me as well. We’ve stayed in touch over the years. She’d been featured in Grab the Reins, and she updated me about a friendship she’d written about back then—how that relationship has continued to grow and become steadier, more supportive, and healthier as she’s done her inner work.
Three messages, each one unexpected.
It made me pause.
Not so much because of the specific stories, but because of what they stirred up: a wave of nostalgia, a sudden remembering of where I was all those years ago, and where I am today.
I’ve gathered so many tools along the way. Tools that help me breathe easier, think more clearly, and feel more at home in myself. Not by chasing certifications or checking boxes, but by following what genuinely expands my freedom, my peace, and my sense of self. And when something strengthens me, I want it in the hands of the women I support.
As I launch my new site and new blog, it feels like the right moment to say something simple and true:
If you’ve been with me—in different programs, in groups, on various platforms—thank you.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for being part of my world.
Thank you for growing with me, circling back, reconnecting, and continuing to do the brave work of being human.
This blog is one more way for us to stay connected and keep supporting each other’s growth.
