I never planned to work in healing.
I was a teacher and writer, until life led me down a path I couldn’t ignore.
Growing up, food was everything. It was comfort, love, connection… and shame. Eating felt good, but being seen eating was bad. Like the times I hid in the pantry, scarfing down chocolate fudge cookies. Like the time I was eight, when I was weighed in front of my entire class. The humiliation burned into my memory. From then on, I became obsessed with the number on the scale, and with trying to be “good.”
For decades, my life revolved around food, body image, and guilt. I’d diet, fail, hate myself, and start again. When I discovered the 12-Step program, things started to change. I learned honesty. I learned structure. I learned to sit with uncomfortable feelings instead of running from them.
I began volunteering at Retorno, then Israel’s largest addiction recovery center. I taught basketball in exchange for horseback riding, and was surrounded by people rebuilding their lives. Between the horses and the honesty, I found my calling.
Working alongside professionals and recovering addicts, I witnessed real transformation, the kind textbooks can’t teach. I saw courage, honesty and the raw process of recovery unfold.

Addiction, trauma, and emotional hunger started making sense to me.
But still… I wasn’t free.
Then I stumbled upon EFT tapping. I started using it for a physical issue, but something incredible happened: old fears began to dissolve. My anxiety, my guilt, my rigidity… all softened. And when I applied the same methods to my food obsession, the mental noise finally quieted. For the first time, I felt comfortable in my own skin.
I wasn’t just coping. I was finally living.
That understanding became the heart of my work. Today, I combine psychological insight, trauma-informed care, addiction recovery methods, EFT tapping, and equine-assisted therapy to help women rewire lifelong patterns and discover serenity.

The self-help world is endless, but healing isn’t supposed to take over your life forever; it’s meant to give you your life back.
My philosophy is practical, heart-centered, and personalized. My goal isn’t to “fix” you. It’s to understand where you want to go and uncover what’s keeping you stuck. Every woman is complex, and no single tool fits everyone. That’s why I blend several evidence-based and experiential approaches, always adapting to the person in front of me.
These are some of the tools I draw from:
Mapping relationship dynamics
Understanding emotional triggers
Calming the nervous system
12-Step recovery principles
Developing radical acceptance
Emotional regulation and grounding
Equine-Assisted Therapy

I’m a Certified Addictions Counselor, Advanced EFT Practitioner, and Equine-Assisted Ground Therapy Professional.
For over a decade, I’ve helped women untangle the patterns of codependency, addiction, and compulsive behavior—both in private practice and through my years at Retorno, Israel’s religious addiction recovery center.
Along the way, I’ve incorporated methods from CBT, DBT, trauma-informed healing, and life coaching, blending these disciplines into a holistic, personalized approach.
My background in psychology, teaching, and writing allows me to meet women where they are and take them where they want to go.
